future of Assassin’s Creed: Ubisoft confirms when it will release additional details about Assassin’s Creed Infinity and a smaller-scale AC game. According to the publisher, Ubisoft will showcase “the future of Assassin’s Creed” in September. Today, as part of its 15th-anniversary celebrations, the French business clearly hinted that an announcement for Assassin’s Creed would be forthcoming.
A “very unique event” will be held in September to reveal the future of Assassin’s Creed, according to Ubisoft, which hopes the community will enjoy these celebrations.
All the publisher has to say is that we’ll learn more about Infinity (the codename for Assassin’s Creed Infinity), or maybe the rumored smaller-scale Basim-centric Assassin’s Creed game.
Ubisoft’s 15th-anniversary celebrations for Assassin’s Creed include additional activities in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, a free Origins trial, and weekly events on a dedicated website..
While Ubisoft hasn’t stated if it plans to host an Assassin’s Creed-focused “very special event,” they have hinted that it would be a showcase for all of their forthcoming titles. Nearly two-dozen games, both new and updated, are slated to be unveiled during an upcoming Ubisoft presentation later this year. It’s unclear if this is the September event or not.
First released in November 2007, the first Assassin’s Creed was followed by a slew of subsequent games and spin-offs, including an Oscar-winning feature film starring Michael Fassbender.
