The majority of the sets that you will see here are rather good both in terms of their appearance and their level of protection.

The inner workings of the most effective armour in Elden Ring

In Elden Ring, there is a diverse selection of armour available in a variety of forms and sizes. You won’t find many pieces of equipment that come with stat boosts, so instead of looking for those, focus on looking for defensive numbers, poise, and weight. The following is a breakdown of how weight percentages work to establish how quickly your dodge roll will be in the heat of battle. You also need to take into account the fact that your other pieces of equipment and weapons will contribute to the total load of your equip load. This means that you need to consider everything before deciding how anything will work with your build.

Equip load percentages

29.9%: Light armour, fast rolls
30% – 69.9%: Medium armor, normal rolls
70% – 99.9%: Heavy armour, slow or ‘fat’ rolls
100%+: Over-encumbered

The Omen Elden Ring armor set

This is the armour that the Dungeater wears. This item’s weight makes it one of the heaviest in the game, but it offers exceptional protection against all types of damage.
Location: Lyndell Royal Capital

You’ll undoubtedly all remember the Dung Eater as the person who was hanging in the opening scene sequence. He was the one who was eating dung. When you are close to entering Lyndell, Royal City, the Dung Eater will materialise in the Roundtable Hold as a blood-red phantom in the room next to the Twin Maiden Husks. This will take place around the same time. You won’t gain his attention until you collect the Seedbed Curse from his mirror in the Roundtable Hold in the city, which is located beyond the large gate at the end of the road with the Erdtree Avatar.

Return to him, and he will give you the key to the sewers beneath Lyndell. You may reach these by descending the steps that go to the Avenue Balcony grace, then through the gap in the wall to the left and climbing down the well that you will discover there. Continue travelling around the underground shaming grounds until you come upon Dung Eater incarcerated in one of the cells. As opposed to going down the pipes, the way to get to him travels around the enormous plants and then climbs the ladder.

You will be able to take his armour and his sword if you are successful in killing him now. Be advised, though, that he is an extremely difficult opponent to battle owing to his aggressive nature and his shouting ability, which reduces your ability to negate damage.
