Final Fantasy XIV: The Duty System, which may now be used in A Realm Reborn dungeons, is part of the newest FFXIV free login event.
The next FFXIV free login event is coming to pull you back into Eorzea just when you thought you were gone. As implied by the campaign’s name, the free login is intended to entice former players back into the fold – if only for a (very) brief period of time. It’s just four days left in the newest FFXIV free login promotion, which started on the 15th of June and ends on the 30th of June at 7:59 a.m. If you’re intending on taking advantage of the event, check-in as soon as possible so you can get the most out of it.
You must satisfy a few prerequisites in order to participate in these free login programs. As long as your account is inactive, or you don’t have an active subscription, you’ll be able to play the game.
However, it goes a step further, requiring that your account stay dormant for at least 30 days before it may be reactivated. If you fulfill the eligibility requirements, you may just log in as normal and the free days begin.
For the first time since the 6.1 release, Square Enix hopes that the Duty Support system will be enough to bring gamers back. With the release of 6.1, the Duty Support system has returned to A Realm Reborn dungeons for the first time since its introduction in prior expansions.
In other words, your four free days will not be wasted waiting to join a group of other gamers. Instead, you can instantly enter a dungeon with an NPC group. The social part of an MMO is missing, but you may take on any dungeon with whatever class or role you desire without having to worry about waiting in line for others.
Square Enix’s decision to reopen the game to gamers after it had to shut down servers due to overcrowding in 2022 and 2021 is a significant move. The long-running MMO has a bright future ahead of it, thanks to producer Naoki Yoshida, who says the team is already working on new positions for after the Endwalker updates.
